Stuck in a job she doesn't enjoy, working in a primarily white business, Maddie feels like a fish out of water.  Her friends seem to be moving forward with their relationships and their lives while Maddie is stuck in neutral most days, and sometimes reverse. On any given day, she can't decide if she's depressed, hungry, tired, mad, or all of the above. Maddie pushes for her independence only to find that happiness on her own is elusive as well.  Readers will find a kinship with Maddie and her journey toward self fulfillment and joy.Special Instructions: This is a wonderful book to read with a group of friends, or just your bestie.  You will need something yummy, filling, and shareable:
